Southern Youth Conference (SYC) will take place June 28-30 at the Richardson Seventh-day Adventist church on 1201 W. Belt Line Rd. Yesterday Adventist Community Services Disaster Response assisted with the West, Texas explosion response. ACS DR worked in collaboration with the Hill County Emergency Managment Team, serving at a Collection Center at the Hillsboro Outlet Mall, which is about 15 miles north of West. We are collecting emergency supplies, sorting and organizing them before sending them on to West.

"This request comes from the Mayor of West. All the goods donated are wonderful but we have received so much, it has become a problem. At this time there are no real materials needs for supplies.
