Evangelism
When Jesus was on earth, he commissioned his followers to “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit (Matthew 28:19).” The Texas Conference takes this commission to heart and employs four full-time evangelistic teams – couples who hold evangelistic meetings in churches across Texas who endeavor to help those churches win people to Christ. In addition, the Texas Conference provides extensive financial support and training for local churches that want to hold meetings.
