Hispanic Ministries

The mission of Hispanic Ministries in the Texas Conference is to serve the Hispanic and Brazilian population and to create a specialized program for the development and growth of the membership in these population groups. We also support the pastors and leaders in Spanish-speaking churches and help equip members to reach their communities with the gospel message.

La misión del Ministerio Hispano en la Conferencia de Texas es server a la población hispana y brasilera y crear un programa especializado en el desarrollo y crecimiento de la membresía. También apoyamos y fortalecemos el liderazgo de nuestros pastores en sus respectivos campos y distritos y equipar a miembros para alcanzar a sus comunidades con el mensaje de salvación.

Message from the Vice President

Thirty-two percent of the population here in Texas is Hispanic, and half of all Hispanics that live here in the United States live in just two states, Texas and California. Therein lies the tremendous challenge that we embrace as Seventh-day Adventists here in the Texas Conference. “Go to the highways and byways and invite them to come in…” as it states in Matthew chapter twenty-two. With humble hearts and open arms we step forward to say, “Here am I, send me…”

Mensaje del Vice Presidente

Con gozo y entusiasmo visualizamos la tarea que el Señor ha encomendado a su pueblo a realizar en éste gran estado y Conferencia. Miles y miles de almas están esperando escuchar las buenas nuevas del Evangelio de Paz. ¿Quién irá si no somos nosotros? El ministerio hispano desea no solamente llevar un mensaje que eleva, sino uno que también pueda sanar almas y consolar corazones. La población hispana crece todos los días en nuestro estado, y debemos mirar al cielo y solicitar la bendición de Dios al emprender ésta gran misión.
