Collaborating for Excellence in Learning
Today’s offering is for the Southwestern Union Conference Education Endowment Fund. This fund provides Seventh-day Adventist schools in the Southwestern Union with financial assistance to offer scholarships to students in need of support with educational expenses.
Many families are struggling financially to send their children to Seventh-day Adventist schools due to the rising costs of tuition. The goal of this fund is to enable these students to attend a school within the Southwestern Union Conference and to participate in the mission of Adventist education: collaborating for learning excellence through faith and service.
Last year, this fund contributed nearly $354,030 in aid to students at the elementary, secondary, and university levels of Seventh-day Adventist education in the Southwestern Union.
The foundation for establishing this fund is based on counsel from Adventist co-founder Ellen G. White, who wrote: “Provisions should be made, means invested; a fund secured to educate men and women of other nations and in our own country,” Selected Messages, Book 2, p. 209.

La oferta de hoy es para el Fondo de Inversión Educativa de la Unión Suroeste. Este fondo proporciona ayuda financiera a las escuelas adventistas del séptimo día en la Unión Suroeste para ofrecer becas a estudiantes que necesiten apoyo para gastos educativos.
Muchas familias tienen dificultades económicas para enviar a sus hijos a escuelas adventistas del séptimo día, debido al aumento de los costes de la matrícula. El objetivo de este fondo es permitir que estos estudiantes asistan a una escuela dentro de la Unión Suroeste y participen en la misión de la educación adventista: colaborar para la excelencia en el aprendizaje a través de la fe y el servicio.
