Levi Whitcomb, Ed.D., serves as associate superintendent for education at the Texas Conference of Seventh-day Adventists in Alvarado, Texas. After spending 15 years in the classroom, he has spent the past six years supporting schools, administrators, and teachers through the Texas Conference Office of Education. Throughout his career, he has been committed to advancing the kingdom of God through rigorous, meaningful learning experiences and helping educators create engaging environments where students can grow academically and spiritually.

He works closely with school leaders and teachers across the Texas Conference, supporting instructional improvement, leadership development, strategic planning, and collaboration among schools. He is passionate about helping educators use thoughtful, student-centered practices to strengthen teaching and learning.

Whitcomb earned both his bachelor’s degree in history and his master’s degree in educational leadership from Southwestern Adventist University in Keene, Texas. He earned his Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership from Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas.

Married to his high school sweetheart, Michal Anne, he values the time they spend together raising their two children, Anna and Anderson. In his free time, Whitcomb enjoys golf, softball, biking, and reading. He is also an enthusiastic fan of the Dallas Mavericks, Dallas Cowboys, Dallas Stars, Texas Rangers, and Chelsea FC. His favorite Bible verse is Joshua 24:15 NIRV: “But as for me and my family, we will serve the Lord.”
